Jesus is God’s answer to your prayer

For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

John 3:16

Bottom line: Jesus is God’s answer to your prayer.

Preaching

To every problem, there is a solution, to every disease there is a cure, and to every prayer, there is an answer. I have come today to bring to you the answer to your prayer. If your case is disease, you will be healed today. If yours is financial setback, you shall see breakthrough, if yours is bareness, you will carry your baby, whatever condition it may be, you will go back today with a solution! I have come to submit to you the ultimate solution to your situation, “JESUS CHRIST”.

Permit me to tell you that the greatest problem you have now, is not the problem of sickness, not a problem of bareness, not a problem of poverty, etc., but it is the problem of the LACK OF THE PRESENCE OF JESUS IN YOUR LIFE.

WITH JESUS IN YOUR LIFE, ALL YOUR MATTERS ARE SETTLED. AND I CAN TELL YOU TODAY THAT THE FACT THAT YOU ARE HERE, MEANS THAT HE IS ALREADY ON YOUR MATTER. THE JOB IS ALREADY HALF DONE.

But, who is this Jesus, you may ask? Who really is He? Who is this man whose presence settles every matter?

The Bible says that:

IN THE beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. He was present originally with God. All things were made and came into existence through Him, and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being.

John 1:1-3 (AMP)

By faith, we understand that the worlds [during the successive ages] were framed (fashioned, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose) by the word of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible.

Hebrews 11:3

God existed as the Word at the beginning of all things, and all things were made by Him. Nothing was made without Him.

In the Old Testament, the children of Israel knew God as the Word. They never knew God in any physical form. They only heard His word and His voice. This was the God who:

  • Created the heavens and the earth in Genesis 1:1
  • Created man in the Garden of Eden in Genesis 1:27
  • Destroyed the whole earth with a flood and established a new covenant with Noah in Genesis 7,8 and 9
  • He is the God who established a covenant with Abraham Isaac and Jacob
  • He is the same God who spoke to Moses in the burning bush, delivered the children of Israel from Egyptian captivity, and led them into the promised land. Today, if you would accept him, He will lead you into your promised Land in the name of Jesus!
  • He parted the Red Sea for Moses, and the Jordan for Elisha, He answered by fire when Elijah called, and today, He will move mountains for you, in the name of Jesus!

This God who walked with them in the times of old as a voice through prophets and as written words through the laws manifested Himself in a new way.

And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth.

John 1:14

And the glory (majesty and splendor) of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.

Isaiah 40:5

Then God, who existed in an invisible form as the WORD became visible to all men as He manifested himself in human flesh as Jesus.

Jesus declared:

[Once more Jesus addressed the crowd. He said I am the Light of the world. He who follows me will not be walking in the dark, but will have the Light which is Life.

John 8:12

He was the light of the world.

In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men

John 1:4

He was and still is the only light that the whole world needs to walk out of the darkness. By light, I mean solution, answer, redemption, salvation…

The Bible says that this God who finally manifested Himself as human flesh came to His own, but they rejected Him (John 1:11).

But the bible doesn’t end there, it says in verse 12, but as many as received Him, to them gave the power to become sons of God.

If you receive Jesus today,

  • You receive life and light.
  • You receive healing, deliverance, breakthrough, rest.

Why did He decide to come in the flesh? This was to destroy the power of sin over your life so that you can be free from the devil’s captivity. The Bible says this Jesus, who is God manifested in the flesh, gave up His life on the cross, His blood was spilled on the streets of Jerusalem and on Calvary to take away the sin of the whole world. For the bible declares:

Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned—

Romans 5:12

Anyone born into this world is born in sin, because of the first man – Adam’s sin. And anyone living in sin abides in death. What is death?

  • Sickness
  • Poverty
  • Bareness
  • Lack of joy and more…

So, it doesn’t matter whether you did something wrong or not, the fact that you are born into this world through your mother and father, is enough to be condemned.

And the Bible says,

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 6:23

This is the reason why Jesus manifested himself in the flesh, to deliver you from the power of sin and death.

For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ. Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all men, so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men.  For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.

Romans 5:17-19

Only through Jesus, can you be free from the Devil’s affliction. Our proof text, John 3: 16 says that all who believe in him shall not perish, but receive life.

The healing you are looking for is in Jesus, the breakthrough you are looking for is in Jesus, and the financial prosperity you are looking for is in Jesus. Look up to Jesus because He is the author and finisher of your faith. All other grounds are sinking sand.

Prayer

First, I want to invite all those who have never made the decision to accept Jesus in their lives as Lord and Savior to come forward. The Bible says:

That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

Romans 10: 9 – 10

Say this prayer out loud:

Lord Jesus. I have sinned against you in every way. Forgive me my sins today and wash me with your precious blood. On my own I can’t make it, so I invite you into my life. Be my savior and Lord over my life. I receive the gift of your Holy Spirit. Now I am transformed. I am a new [wo]man, I am born again. Thank you, Lord Jesus.

Now you are born again, welcome to the family of God.
