Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.
Isaiah 49:16 (KJV)
Bottom line: The Lord knows you by name.
Teaching
A lot of believers think that our Christian walk should be a bed of roses. They think we should face no difficulty or challenge at all because now we are born again, and we live holy lives. So, they get surprised and sometimes discouraged when problems eventually show up. Often, they feel that God does not see what they are going through, or God does not feel their pain. Many of them put in a lot of effort to try to attract the attention of God because they feel that the Lord has forgotten them. Some even pray or sing songs saying, “Remember me oh God”. If you fall in this category of Christians, then I’ve got news for you today. GOD HAS NEVER FORGOTTEN YOU.
The Bible Says:
16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands;
Isaiah 49:16
thy walls are continually before me.
As a father can never forget his child, much more, the Lord can never forget you. His eyes are upon you daily. His Spirit is with you, everywhere you go. When Jesus was about to leave the earth, he never said ‘goodbye’. But he said:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Matthew 28:20
He is with us daily by his Spirit who resides in us. So yes, He knows what you go through daily. He knows all the challenges and the pains and the hardship, more than you think. He went through the same hard times as you. So yes, he feels your pain.
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Hebrews 4:15
Why then does he allow hardship to come your way? That is the obvious question you would ask. But I want you to remember what King David said:
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
Psalms 23:4
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
He never promised to take us out of the “valley of the shadow of death”, but he promised to be with us as we walk through it. Because you see, trials and hard times are there to build your faith and make you much stronger. They are there to refine you and make you a better product, a more improved version of yourself.
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
James 1:3
9 And I will bring the third part through the fire,
Zechariah 13:9
and will refine them as silver is refined,
and will try them as gold is tried:
they shall call on my name, and I will hear them:
I will say, It is my people:
and they shall say, The LORD is my God.
Therefore, don’t allow your present situation to make you believe the Lord has forgotten you, because that will never happen. He is right there where you are, living in your heart. He is there to help you face that mountain. He will never leave your sight. And I guarantee you that, If God is with you, fighting for you, no enemy can stand the challenge. So, cheer up, because the Lord is giving you victory today, in the name of Jesus! Amen.

Prayer
Dear Lord, thank you because you know me personally and you know all what I’m going through. I trust in your Word and in your eternal love for me. I declare today that I am stronger and bigger than every challenge that I’m facing right now. I am more than a conqueror by your Spirit who resides in me in Jesus’ name. Amen.
